Bring on the Protractors!

Now that we have learned how to distinguish among polygons, regular polygons,
and other two-dimensional shapes, it is now time to take a closer look at the angles that make up these shapes. Tomorrow we are going to be looking at the protractor and learn how exactly it works as well as how to use it. This will help us for the next few lessons in the up coming weeks on how to identify and classify acute, right, obtuse, and straight angles, as well as in the construction of
these angles while using a protractor. Geometry is a great unit because it teaches us all about the shapes and angles that we see in our everyday life. Check out this geometry website so that you get an idea of what we will be learning tomorrow.

Remember, don't forget to bring your protractors!
